See Kings Bay without getting in the water
Our Wildlife Viewing Boat Tours are made for anyone who wants the beauty of Kings Bay without swimming. Stay comfortable and dry while a local crew guides you through the waterways.
Kings Bay is 588 acres full of wildlife to see, and manatees are the star of the show. Crystal River is nicknamed the Manatee Capital of the World for good reason. Along the way you'll also have a chance to spot many different species of birds, turtles, fish, and the occasional dolphin.
MANATEE SEASON & YEAR-ROUND
There's a good chance to see manatees any time of year
Peak manatee season runs November 15th through March 31st, when the warm springs draw them in by the hundreds. Kings Bay also keeps a resident population that stays here year-round, so a boat tour is a great way to look for them in any season.

What you'll watch for
Manatees resting and feeding in the springs
Freshwater turtles along the shoreline
The occasional dolphin passing through
Herons, egrets, and other native birds
Fish moving through the clear water
How the tour goes
1
Check in at Seadaddys
Meet your crew at the dock. There's no gear to fit and nothing to carry, just step aboard.
2
Cruise Kings Bay
Ride the waterways over about 1.5 hours while your crew searches out manatees and native wildlife.
3
Stay dry and watch
Relax above the water at an easy pace that works for families, grandparents, and anyone who'd rather watch than wade.
Before you book
Manatees and other wildlife are wild, so sightings vary by season and day. Tour times and availability are shown clearly during booking. Want to get in the water instead? Pair your visit with a manatee snorkeling tour.
Rather get in the water?
